Perhaps you purchased a cup of ice cream from one of our volunteers at Kasson Festival in the Park or Marigold Days. You soon will have another opportunity to support the activities of Faith in Action.
On Monday, October 14, 2024, our annual Fall Soup and Pie Supper will be held at the Grace Methodist Church, 801 5th Ave. N.W., Kasson. We will be serving Chicken Wild Rice Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup and/or Vegetable Beef Soup and assorted pies from 4:30pm to 7:00pm.
Faith in Action is a non-profit, volunteer organization in Dodge County that connects community members with their elderly neighbors in need. Our mission is to provide services that help support the independence of senior citizens. Through the service of our dedicated volunteers, we are able to provide needed transportation, assistance with household chores and maintenance, handyman and yard work services, respite for full-time caregivers, friendly visits and wellness calls. Our volunteers are able to choose the services they are comfortable in providing and the times they can serve. Providing these simple, yet often vital services, may enable seniors to successfully age at home. Faith in Action currently serves approximately 120 Dodge County seniors 60+ years old and individuals rehabilitating from a short-term physical disability.
