City Council approved the following items:
• Agenda and consent agenda to include: Minutes from August 26, 2024 City Council Meeting; Payment of Bills; Termination of Seasonal Pool Employees; Request from Harold’s to close off alleyway from September 12-15, 2024;
• Adoption of Ordinance 163, Second Series – Floodplain Ordinance. Council also approves summary of ordinance for publication;
• Hiring of Paige Olson, Paid On-Call EMT;
• Two quotes from Bargen, Inc. Mastic gap repairs - $18,906 and RePlay project - $83,440;
• Quote for Fortress Flooring for Fire Department of $10,112;
• Funding of Team Talk for the Fire Department in the amount of $58,000;
• Resolution 2024-022 – Resolution Ordering a Report on 2025 Improvement Project;
• Resolution 2024-023 – Resolution Receiving Report and Calling for Hearing on Improvement. Public Hearing scheduled for October 28, 2024;
• Authorizing Ketchum and Mattson to represent the City of Dodge Center in negotiating with the taxing districts serviced by Dodge Center Ambulance Service.
