Present: Mayor Bill Ketchum, Cathy Skogen, Gary Trelstad, Paul Blaisdell, Braedon Dostal, Marianne Sobek, Stephanie Gonzalez, Meredith Brose, Deputy Breuer, Deputy Anderson, John Fox, Vanessa Hines, Al Denny, Melinda Hedberg
City Council approved the following items:
• Minutes of the August 10, 2026 City Council Meeting, Minutes of the July 2026 HRA Meeting, Minutes of the July 2026 EDA Meeting, Minutes of the July 2026 Park Board Meeting, and Payment of bills Tabled the nuisance code violation decision regarding the 602 10th Ave NW property,
• Approve hiring Dylan Ptacek to the Fire Department,
• Approve Resolution 2026-013: A Resolution Ordering A Report on Improvement for the 2027 Improvement Project,
• Approve Resolution 2026-014: A Resolution Receiving Report and Calling for Hearing on Improvement for the 2027 Improvement Project for 1st Avenue NE from Main Street E to Highway Street E, setting the public hearing for September 28th City Council Meeting,
• Authorize submission of the Park Board Playground Answers to Leathers and Associates,
• Authorize hiring Wanda Fjerstad as a part-time Administrative Assistant,
• Appoint Dan Jensen as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
