Present: Mayor Bill Ketchum, Gary Trelstad, Cathy Skogen, Paul Blaisdell, Braedon Dostal, Lee Mattson, Marianne Sobek, John Fox, Vanessa Hines – Widseth and Deputy Tyler Breuer.
City Council approved the following items:
• Amended Agenda and Consent Agenda to include: Minutes of August 25, 2025 Council Meeting, Airport Maintenance & Operations Agreement, Dodger Days Committee, and Payment of Bills;
• Authorizing Mattson and Hines to negotiate with McNeilus not to exceed $50,000 from the City in expanding the mill and overlay project to include 2nd Ave SE;
• Change order for the 2025 Improvement Project in the amount of $4,400;
• Resolution 2025-026 – A Resolution Approving a Lot Split and Combination Requested by McNeilus Steel and Corey Johnston;
• Resolution 2025-027 – A Resolution Approving Rezoning of Lot 9, Block 4, Ayars Second Addition to I-2 Heavy Industrial District;
• Resolution 2025-028 – A Resolution Granting a Variance for Side Setback and Industrial/Residential Separation Requirements;
• Resolution 2025-029 – A Resolution Approving Setback Variances for Corey & Joanne Johnston;
• Authorize staff to pursue replacing the black pipe and fittings on the airport fuel system with stainless with the City paying the difference of approximately $500 with Airport funds;
