Absent:
City Council approved the following items:
• Agenda and consent agenda to include: Minutes from September 9, 2024 City Council Meeting; HRA August 13, 2024 Meeting, EDA June 17, 2024 Meeting, Park Board July 16, 2024 Meeting; Payment of Bills – amended to include a $40 bill from MN State Treasurer;
• Purchase of mixer from KLM Engineering in the amount of $13,068 for Southeast water tower;
• Quote from Sorensen & Sorensen Painting in the amount of $19,760 to refinish slides and interior of the bathhouse at the Aquatic Center;
• Hiring of O’Rion Forthun for the open Maintenance position;
• Resolution 2024-024 - A Resolution Approving the Proposed 2025 Budget of the City of Dodge Center and Authorizing the City Administrator to Certify the Proposed Tax Levy Request to the County Auditor;
• Public Hearing set for December 9, 2024 regarding the Proposed 2025 Budget and Tax Levy;
• Funding request from SEMCAC in the amount of $5,925/year for the next 5 years and to amend the 2025 Proposed Budget to include this funding and the proposed resolution, 2024-025, allocating the funding;
• Rate increase for Dodge Center Airport hangar leases to 0.17/square foot.
