Present: Mayor Bill Ketchum, Gary Trelstad, Cathy Skogen, Paul Blaisdell, Braedon Dostal, Lee Mattson, Meredith Brose, Jeremy Dostal, John Fox, Vanessa Hines, Isaac Gronseth, Tyler Vermeersch, Jeff Brion and Kathy Freeman.
Absent:
City Council approved the following items:
• Agenda and consent agenda to include: Minutes from May 12, 2025 City Council Meeting; May 19, 2025 Special Council Meeting, May 27, 2025 Special Council Meeting, April 8, 2025 HRA Meeting, Hiring of Jason Anderson – Paid-On-Call Paramedic, Hiring of Quinn Short, Lifeguard and Payment of Bills;
• Commence abatement of property located at 606 5th St NE. Owner has until 5:00 p.m. on June 23, 2025 to bring property up to code at which time the property will be abated;
• Commence abatement of property located at 213 2nd St SE. Owner has until 5:00 p.m. on June 23, 2025 to bring property up to code at which time the property will be abated;
• Commence abatement of property located at 18 1st Ave NE. Owner has until 5:00 p.m. on June 23, 2025 to bring property up to code at which time the property will be abated
• Test air quality in the area of Freerksen Trucking at a cost of approximately $8,000;
• Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $5,218.50 and the cost of a plug for work on the 2025 Road Improvement Project;
• Council pledging $100 for each employee satisfying the City’s annual Wellness Bingo activity.
