Present: Mayor Bill Ketchum, Gary Trelstad, Cathy Skogen, Paul Blaisdell, Braedon Dostal, Lee Mattson, Mark Barwald, John Fox, Jeremy Dostal, Meredith Brose, Dodge County Sheriff Deputy Tyler Breuer, Kathy Freeman and others.
City Council approved the following items:
• Agenda and Consent Agenda to include: Minutes of September 9, 2025 Council Meeting, August 12, 2025 HRA Meeting, and Payment of Bills;
• Public Hearing date for the American Legion request for a Sunday liquor license set for October 13, 2025;
• Resolution 2025-030 Approving the Proposed Budget of the City of Dodge Center and Authorizing the City Administrator to Certify the Proposed Tax Levy Request to the County Auditor;
• Budget Hearing date set for December 8, 2025;
• Authorization for staff to pursue the State Grant to improve North Airport Drive;
• Confirm to the State, our Intended Use Plan for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Rehabilitation;
• Letting solar company know the City does not have an interest in a solar farm on the Marquardt property;
• Resolution 2025-031 Authorization to Execute Minnesota Department of Transportation Grant Agreement for Airport Improvement Excluding Land Acquisition;
• Authorizing staff to advertise for an Assistant Ambulance Director.
