Present: Mayor Bill Ketchum, Cathy Skogen, Gary Trelstad, Paul Blaisdell, Braedon Dostal, Lee Mattson, Stephanie Gonzalez, Meredith Brose, Mark Barwald, John Fox, Vanessa Hines, Melanie Leth, Randy Langworthy.
City Council approved the following items:
• Approve and accept the consent agenda to include: Minutes of the August 24, 2026 City Council Meeting, Minutes of the August 2026 HRA Meeting, Termination of Aquatic Center Employees, purchasing Administrative Assistant Computer, Center Clinic Event request, City Hall Keypad/Fob locks, Community Development Office Space, Dodge County Ordinance Proposal, purchasing Aquatic Center Umbrella Frames, 2027 Law Enforcement Contract, Truth in Taxation Hearing, Triton Homecoming Parade Route, and Payment of bills,
• Move forward with the abatement process on 406 1st St NW,
• Approve the additional funds for repairing a catch basin,
• Approve the purchase and install of a mini split A/C unit for the Aquatic Center concession kitchen, not to exceed $6,500,
• Authorize demolition of the wall between the east bay of the Fire Hall equipment bays and the rest of the room with final evaluation and input from the Fire Department before moving forward,
• Approve the 2026 Dodge Center Water Service Replacement project, moving forward with construction beginning Spring 2027 with 100% State funding,
• Waive Community Center rental fees for Community Ed classes,
• As authorized by Minnesota statute 13D.05, subd 2(a)(3), closed meeting for the purpose of discussing data that is not public,
• Authorize a letter of agreement with Jodi Hill.
