Jeffrey Frank Eisterhold, 59, of Kasson, MN passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Methodist Campus in Rochester, MN after a courageous 4-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Jeffrey was born on March 1, 1967, in Albert Lea, MN to John and Linda (Zeiner) Eisterhold. He graduated from Albert Lea high school and Austin Vo-tech school. He then graduated from IBM Programmer University. He worked as a programmer for IBM for 20 years and was currently working for Western Digital.
Jeff has lived in Kasson since 1991. He married Laura Allen on September 28, 1991. He enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, watching the MN Wild, deer and pheasant hunting. You would often find him tinkering in the garage taking things apart and putting them back together. He was “Mr. Fix-it”. Most of all he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Laura Eisterhold of Kasson, MN; children, Daniel (Nutsovanary Puy) Eisterhold of Byron, MN and Kelly (Brandon) Myrom of Kasson, MN; two grandchildren, Rory Myrom and Bellamy Myrom; parents, John and Linda Eisterhold; mother-in-law, Ruth Allen; brothers, Doug (Tara) Eisterhold and Greg (Judy) Eisterhold; brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Sheri Allen; nieces and nephews, Ramsey Eisterhold, Shay (Sara) Eisterhold, Abigail Eisterhold, Emily Eisterhold, Dohrian Eisterhold, and Shai Nichols; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Leona Zeiner and Herman and Florentina Eisterhold; and his father-in-law, Gerald “Jerry” Allen.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson, MN with Pastor Pete Wyttenbach officiating. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson, MN and also one hour prior to his service on Friday. Inurnment will be in St. Margaret’s Catholic cemetery in Mantorville, MN.
