The results for the Capitol Project Levy vote held Tuesday November 4th are as follows. Yes votes = 460 and No votes = 318. The Levy raises $650,000 per year for the next ten years to be used for technology investments, updated text books and materials, deferred maintenance on the building and replacement of aging buses and vans in the transportation fleet. Due to inflation, declining enrollment and funding gaps the district was facing budget shortfalls which had drawn the fund balance below the bord approved levels. Superintendent Lutterman pointed out that the increased tax impact on a $250,000 home would amount to $6.00 per month over the next ten years.
