This past weekend, February 14th, West Concord Fire Department volunteers participated in the annual Polar Plunge. Each year the department raises funds in the cold winter event.
Total raised for Special Olympics by Team WCFD was $2,115. Fun fact, Tyler’s winter soccer team participates in the special Olympics. He jumped twice this year. Fire department members are Joe, Dylan, Kyle, Michaela, Jake, and Chad. The team there are family of FD members. Thanks to everyone who donated to this great cause! We are happy to jump and will plan to do it again next year.
